I ALWAYS have two (2) wheels solidly weighted on ramps. This includes anytime I am tugging underneath on nuts and bolts, or doing anything that might push or move the car around while it's raised. However, for cleaning, I do not worry about that. The floor is very solid, level, and smooth. I am VERY careful in stand placement, insuring that each stand's support upright is engaged at the exact same tooth count (I have them marked with yellow paint). Before I get under I "push" the car both front to back, and side to side, with all my weight, trying to 'rock it'. You can feel when a car is really solid on the stands. And yes, I almost always leave one or two extended floor jacks under. Why not? Its good insurance. I removed them for this post. Gordon
